Overview

The Edinburgh Turing Festival is the Edinburgh International Technology Festival. It takes place during the August festival summer and brings together creative people from Scotland and all over the world. The Turing Festivals invites prestigious speakers from all the technology branches and offers talks, discussions and workshops across several venues in Edinburgh’s old town. Anybody with a keen interest in technology is welcome to join, from young start-ups to investors.

Named after Alan Turing, the inventor of modern computing, the festival explores how technology affects modern society and culture.
